Ogden, evening visit

                                    Robins up in full song

Not a well Black Headed gull

A bright mild sunny day after an early morning frost, that was until after work when I arrived at Ogden to dark grey skies and light rain showers.
The water held 3 Canadas, 1 male Goldeneye and the usual Mallards along with 2 BHGs, one looking as if it wouldnt make it overnight.
Plenty songsters with Robins, Dunnocks, Wren and Song Thrush whilst several Long Tailed Tits were after the pussy willow buds.
No sign of hirundines despite reports today from Calderbirds of  Swallows and Sand Martin.
A stop off on the way back at the Ned Hill watch point failed to produce Wheatear.
With a warm weekend predicted things should start buzzing.
