Fly Flatts revisited

                              Canadas on the moor
                                         90% froze

                                        Canadas moving high >S

Canadas low over the moor >S

Fly Flatts 0630-0900hrs Icy cold  E>4 Cloudy

Early start and finish today due to grandchild minding duties.
The moor was much quieter in the stronger wind from yesterday with birds keeping their heads down.
The highlight of the morning was skeins of Canadas moving >S probably looking for unfroze water, some very high whilst others were skimming the moor. Otherwise it was much the same as yesterday with still no Wheatear.

78 Canadas..................................>S
2 Oystercatcher
+ usual sp.
