Poor reservoir weather, Leeshaw

Still 1 single Curlew and chick
                            Swallow and Sand Martin

                                    A lazy shore
A good fall of Meadow Pipits
                                    2 distant Common Sandpipers

Terrible weather conditions at Leeshaw this morning with full sun on a very light W>1 at 12 degrees which is about as bad as fog for reservoir watching causing the area to go stagnant.
As always at Leeshaw there was plenty to watch but nothing to get the adrenaline flowing although it looked good for some raptor movement which never happened.
Hirundines and Swifts were the main event with House and Sand Martin as well as several juv Swallows in the air and a good fall of Meadow Pipits was apparent with good numbers in the area.
Wader-wise, 2 Oystercatchers, 2 Common Sandpiper, 1 Curlew with chick and several Lapwing whilst the water held 2 female Goosander plus the usual geese and Mallards.
Very poor on gulls, as expected in the conditions, with 7 Black Headed and 2 LBBs whilst a Heron and Little Owl were present.
Tomorrow looks like one extreme to the other with heavy rain and a strong east wind.
