Several Greylags high and >NE
Dog and Gun field
2 Herring with the LBBs
Both Herrings ' argentius'
Another pleasing morning, weather wise at Leeshaw with full cloud on a light NNW>3 at 9 degrees with light drizzle showers throughout.
A much quieter morning in the cold north wind with far fewer small passerines around. The 8 Stonechat were still present along with several Mipits whilst a good count of Blue and Great Tits were in the new trees down by the beck.
A good move of LBB gulls was apparent though all very high and >W whilst several small groups of Greylags headed >NE, also very high. Only 2 LBBs on the shore along with 14 Black Headed and 3 Oystercatchers with the usual 2 female Goosander on the water along with a Cormorant whilst the long staying Curlew was still present.
On the way to Leeshaw I came across 2 Barn Owls ,in separate locations and on the way back a group of LBB gulls were in the Dog and Gun field along with 2 Herring gulls, but not of the Yellow Legged species.
Looking like a wetter day tomorrow with a slightly stronger >NW.
