1 of 3 Ringed Plover
Still a few Curlew with chicks
6 Common Sandpiper present.
Though the temperature was still down at 7 degrees, at Fly Flatts this morning, it felt milder due to the light NW>3 with early full cloud and rain clearing, to give some sunshine.
Plenty Swifts in the air along with a single Buzzard being mobbed by the family of 5 Raven way over to the west,
The Common Sandpipers and Ringed Plovers are sticking it out, despite no shore, whilst 2 Oystercatchers dropped in from the SW. Apart from Reed Buntings and Mipits small passerines are at a loss so far this year.
Just 3 pair of Curlew still present with chicks whilst nearly all the Lapwings have now bred and moved on.
A slight rise in temperature in the morning and looking dry with a light wind with some east init so it all depends on visibility.
