Fly Flatts early p.m. visit.

                                                   female Teal
Wheatear, not yet in full autumn plumage.

Early afternoon at Fly Flatts with broken cloud and some sun on a light NE>3 at 14 degrees.
Too much disturbance to be productive today with members of the sailing club clearing debris from the north bank whilst the water is low, plus, lime spreading on the west bank which is done over a weekend annually to counteract the peat.
Luckily it was decent conditions to scope around the banking apart from the heat distortion around the shoreline.
No waders present today, probably due to the machinery working up there during the morning, and nothing in the air other than a good count of Swallows moving through very high and >SE.
Just 4 Wheatear around the Robin rock, including another suspected Greenland, plus a single female Teal and 6 LBB gulls on the far shore.
The water level has risen slightly with yesterdays deluge but a dry week forecast for the forthcoming week will take it back to its original level.
