Back at Fly Flatts, (permit only)

2 Greylag new in, inc this white job.

                                              Just a single Stonechat present.

                                                  Fly catching.

A midday hour at Fly Flatts in calm conditions with the fog and drizzle just clearing as I arrived.
A light SW>1 at 15 degrees with broken cloud and sunshine.
No records broken today with the Dunlin now gone leaving the area wader-less and only 8 LBBs on the shore as well as 4 Black Headed on the water. Two Greylags arrived, one of these being the white bird that moves around the area.
A single Stonechat was in the compound along with 2 Reed Bunting and 4 juv Pied Wagtails whilst good numbers of Meadow Pipits were heading >S, looking like there had been a big move this morning.
A Red Kite was soaring on the thermals, very high to the North over Nab Water Lane.
