Leeshaw Reservoir, / Ogden.

LEESHAW                    Distant pair of Teal
Good count of 172 Greylag geese

                                       several Herring gulls present.

                                                 1 Wigeon on the water.
                                               Wigeon with Mallard

A pleasant morning with hazy sunshine on a light S>2 and good visibility with the fog sticking to the hill tops.
The goose field had a record count of 172 Greylags with 45 Canadas on the water along with a pair of Teal and a single Wigeon. A lower count of gulls today but several Herrings on and around the gantry but only 4 LBBs.
Starlings and Woodpigeons are continuing to move through whilst a flock of Stock Doves >NW was unusual. A higher count of Meadow Pipits today which were blogging in a field along with 2 Mistle Thrush.
A search through all the BH gulls again left me wondering, where are the Med gulls this year.
Very little time mid afternoon so just a quick check of the water at Ogden looking from the promenade half expecting a Goldeneye but none arrived at this site yet.
Small gull numbers were down and only 5 big gulls on the water.
