1 Oystercatcher over high and >S
A few Black Headed gull >N
2 Curlew >W in migration mode.
1 of 2 juv Pied Wagtails
Another sweltering morning with temperatures up to 21 degrees at 0745 hrs and a very light W>1 with cloudless skies and full sun.
Very little signs of movement which can be expected in these conditions but waders kept the ball rolling with a single Oystercatcher south and 2 Curlew west.
All the small waders had left the area overnight with just 1 Common Sandpiper and juv plus the usual pair of Ringed Plover still on site.
A scattering of Black Headed gulls headed >N after stopping off at the water whilst LBB gulls headed >NE.
No sign of passerine dispersion as yet with just 2 juv Pied Wagtails on the launching slipway which were bred in the boatyard.
A very quiet afternoon in the heat but avoided the boredom by Swift counting.
