Bit of wader movement, Fly Flatts.(permit only)

The pair of Ringed Plovers now into their 9th week here.
                                                              Common Sandpipers arrived overnight.

                                                     Bit of displaying.

                                                 2 resident Oystercatchers.

Boats enjoying the easterly this afternoon.

More easterlies bringing more birds to Fly Flatts this morning. A cool E>4 with clear sky and full sun at 4 degrees.
An overnight arrival of Common Sandpipers with a count of 7 without checking the north end where there would probably have been more. No other new waders in but Oxon is now getting Sanderling and we seem to run about a week after them with birds moving >N.
A light gull move early doors with LBBs and Herring plus LBBs on the North shore on chick/egg watch. Several of the Wheatears had moved through this morning leaving 5 around the SE corner and no sign of yesterdays Whinchat.
