A steadier day and photo disaster. Fly Flatts, (no public access)

Only 4 juv Wheatears found today

                                    1 of 2 Dunlin present.

Reasonable conditions today with full cloud but good visibility on a NW>4 turning W>5 at 10 degrees.
Yesterdays 2 Dunlins were still present throughout the day but distant this morning out on the south shore. Late afternoon the 2 birds had come into the pond area where I got very close views and 67 photos but doing my blog I downloaded the pics from the camera to the laptop and then deleted them from the camera. Shock, horror, when I looked at the laptop to find it had,nt down loaded them so they were all lost with just the one distant one from this morning. Oh well , lucky it was,nt a passing Osprey I,d taken.
Just the Ringed Plover was the only other wader present with some movement of Swallows, Swifts, Snipe and a Curlew with 4 juv Wheatear and 16 LBB gulls present.
