Fly Flatts a.m.

                                        1 of 5 Redshank

                                               1 of 8 Common Sandpipers

                                   Redshanks and Common Sandpiper.

                                          1 of 2 Golden Plover

0800 hrs at Fly Flatts and a better morning with hazy sunshine but a nice cooling SE>4 getting the birds more active.
At least 5 Redshank are present along with a minimum of 8 Common Sandpipers which are using the near dry lagoon and the SE shoreline which is handy for me not being able to walk the west bank. Around 7 Wheatear are in the area along with 1 Reed Bunting , 1 Snipe and 2 Golden Plover.
This afternoon is looking like a write off up there with the sun blasting and temperature rising which will be attracting the sun seekers. They even took a boat out from the yard last night and sunk it part way out in the water.
