Another Sunday morning in the fog. Fly Flatts

Peering over the estuary. Fly Flatts
Banks of fog and heavy horizontal drizzle

                                      South shore

Peaceful scene but not for long.....
                                        Stoat wants Rabbit for breakfast
                         The chase is on

                    Creeping up method
Too slow, back to corn flakes
Pictures taken in fog at slow shutter speed hence grim.

Fly Flatts. 0730 hrs in moving fog banks, very heavy drizzle brought across horizontally on a strong W>5 and limited visibility.
Yesterdays wader influx on the South shoreline had either gone back across to the east side , which I was unable to check due to poor visibility, or move away ahead of last nights weather front. Only birds in the southern area were 3 Wheatear with several LBB gulls heading >W in ideal Tern and sea bird moving conditions as confirmed by AC this morning with a Common Scoter on Booth Wood.
Back to Fly Flatts late afternoon to check the east banking and see if the weather has brought any goodies in.
