Ogden after tea.

Not often you get Roe deer by the promenade
At least Tracy got something out of tonights visit.
Several swallows over but no Swifts
Always a bad sign when the views come out.

Passerine alley somewhat spoilt with folks wasted Christmas Trees
Scrooge !!! who, me.!

Ever the optimist me harnessed up the dogs after tea and headed for Ogden with thoughts of passing Terns and exotic waterfowl which of course never happened but I,ll keep trying until it does.
The first sighting was a Roe deer by the end of the promenade which made its way up onto the golf course, strange how several people were around and no one even saw it, even though it passed behind a couple a few yards away.
Very quiet around the circumference of the water with passerines none existent other than Robins and Dunnocks, its surprising how early the small birds go to ground.
The water held 5 Canadas, 7  LBB gulls and the usual Mallards plus the resident Tufted and apart from a Kestrel and a few Woodpigs the sky remained empty.
Hope you all have a good weekend and my phone keeps buzzing.
