Whats the saying about the best laid plans, well today it came true.
The plan was a late rushed dinner and dog walk then a quick in and out hospital appointment with Lynda and time to spare for a dash to Mixenden for the Gt Nth Diver or at the worst a check on the Raggalds Flood.
The dinner time bit went ok although the weather was looking iffy with fog rolling in so now for the quick hospital appointment. Thats where it all went wrong. After a 2 hour wait past the appointment time for a 15 minute consultation we came out of the hospital in the dark with a quick race back to work to get finished off for tea time, hence , no birds what so ever.
To make it worse we,ve to do it all again tomorrow for her dental surgery but in the same waiting room as today watching 4 Goldfish going round a tank.
No spare time tomorrow as its a mid morning visit.
The good news is that Lyndas been given the all clear for another month and the doc was really pleased with her progress.
Nice to hear from new blog watcher Pete Griffin of Leeds today who,s hoping to get over for the GND at Mixenden tomorrow. Hope it hangs about for you Pete.
