Another blustery day for Queensbury

Another day of strong W>6 slightly down on yesterdays speeds but still the horizontal drizzle throughout.
No gull movement today other than the local small gulls in good numbers around Foxhill along with some large flocks of Starlings moving from garden to garden clearing the feeders.
A report today at work of 4 little Grebe and a drake Tufted on Bank Top country park,  and good to hear that the Lapwings and Golden Plovers are starting to show at Shelf Moor, NK.

No time for a dinner time dash today with a shop full of last minute customers panicking to get their cars done for Christmas but looks quieter for tomorrow so may get chance for a scout about at dinner.
Hopefully the wind will ease a bit tomorrow although Christmas Day seems the day of the week weather wise.
The village was covered in litter and dustbins this morning with last nights gale which reminded me of something else mi old grandad used to say, " Its allus worth a look roundt village after a gale cos tha can usually find a better flat cap than thee own."
See you on Christmas Eve.
