A good sky last light over Foxhill but clouds
and drizzle moved in after dark.
With work, shopping, Grand daughter visiting and early dark, time bet me today abandoning my tea time outing. By the time we were loading up at Sainsburys, it was 1500hrs , same time as JL and Sue were loading up, and already the light was going.
A walk up Foxhill with the dogs last light and that was it.
0630hrs this morning as I let the dogs out noisy Mallards were flying over in the dark sounding to be heading >W but I could neither see them or work out how many.
Walking to work at 0730hrs and just light 7 LBB gulls headed over also >W and very high along with the usual 200 + Jackdaws >S leaving the roost at Hewenden.
A few Pied Wagtails were in Halifax p.m. near the bottom of Woolshops and 12 Canadas with 6 Mallard flew over Sowerby Bridge at 1430 hrs probably heading for a roost.
Sounds wet and windy for morning but hopefully something will show up.
