Queensbury snow arrives

Heavy snow showers starting after dark

                                        Chapel Lane top

                                      New Park Rd

A better day with a decrease in wind and an increase in temperature with just a few sleety showers.
After dark heavy snow showers arrived soon sticking on the roads. No gritters round tonight, Queensbury only gets gritted in good weather, must be a health and safety thing.

A poor do on the bird scene today with just the usual small gulls , Starlings and House Sparrows around although as NK called in the garage he saw a Herring gull going over.
Surely we,re due for some winter wildfowl by the weekend.
On the bright side, only 10 days to the shortest day.
