Ringby Top, Ned Hill Watchpoint .

                                   LBBS coming through all day

                          Juv trailing a bad leg.

An early evening trip to Ringby found it rather quiet apart from several House Martins and Swallows moving through >SW and a second Gt Spotted Wdpecker  of the day >W over the valley, DCB also had 3 over the moor at Oxenhope this morning.
After a report from DJS of a Buzzard over Ned Hill and the distant sighting through the hazy sunshine of a bird being mobbed I decided it was time that I was over there.
On arrival at the watchpoint I soon found that the bird Id seen being mobbed was a Kestrel but gulls were coming through in good numbers with a cross over of LBBs heading >SE and Commons heading >NW.
A high Peregrine came out of the sun and disappeared >E whilst several blogging Meadow Pipits were at the site,
On leaving Ned Hill at 1800hrs I found that the Manfrotto monopod I had bought today for the camera had fallen out of my bag so it was another trek up to the top of Ringby where luckily I found it.
