A charm of Goldfinch.
Over the Victoria Hall
A customer came to the garage,( Roy Morris), this morning to say he had just seen a massive flock of small birds feeding on flower tops near the Dailie fields so this inspired me to start my autumn dinner time Dailies dash to see over the valley to the east for anything moving.
I arrived with only 10 minutes to spare and all the flower tops in the described area were void of birds and a scan over the valley found no sign of movers. Suddenly a flock of 90+ Goldfinch were overhead and flying around but no signs of landing. The birds kept very mobile but never left the area , flying around in a massive circle even going over the traffic lights and Victoria Hall. Suddenly they dropped two fields away but time for work so will have to check them out another day.
Thanks for the tip off Roy.
