Ogden , early evening
Grey Wagtail feeding in the overflow
Ogden, 1745- 1830 hrs. Sunshine and showers, W>3
A quick visit to Ogden to top me up before I got on with more fence painting but nothing much stimulating there.
The Grey Wagtail was in its favourite spot in the overflow making it impossible to get a sharp photo with aiming down and the light reflecting back off the water but a nice bird to see.
The usual Heron was present along with 48 BHGs and 5 Common gulls on the water whilst 100+ Swallows were overhead feeding on the swarms of midges .
Again gulls were low in numbers passing through the col.
Meadow Pipits and Swallows were piling through Queensbury from first light this morning but this dried up after 0745hrs.
