Poor reservoir weather, Fly Flatts

3 Dunlin present
5 Redshank

Brood of 9 Mallard growing well

4 Common Sandpiper

Common Sandpiper and Dunlin

Very poor conditions for Fly Flatts this morning with part cloud and sunshine on a very light W>2 at a warm 9 degrees.
Nothing moving up there this morning in the stagnant conditions with large swarms of midges and black fly making some areas unworkable.
Just the usual waders with Ringed Plover, Common Sandpiper, Oystercatcher  and Redshank along with 3 Dunlin on the south bank.
A single Raven was over the Nab but otherwise empty skies apart from the breeding Curlews and Lapwings trying to keep the Crows away.
