Fly Flatts, the return of the fog.

As good as it got, morning sun trying to get through the fog.
                                         Horizontal vision only
16 Golden Plover on the north shore.

                                        1 pr of distant Stonechat.

After just 15 minutes of vis mig at Fly Flatts this morning it suddenly became invis mig as the fog rolled in from the SW across the moor and shutting down the sky. Horizontal visibility was always maintained with some low flying birds recorded but a poor morning with the fog lifting just as I was packing up at 1030 hrs.
Late afternoon was clear but very dark skies on a moderate SW>5.
Needless to say, things were quiet with the main movers being Starling and Chaffinch whilst 16 Golden Plover were on the north shore along with a few gulls and Mallards whilst 2 Reed Bunting and a pair of Stonechat were in the boatyard.
