The 2 resident Crows were,nt too happy
Some of the north bank Mallards (48)
The islands are back but too late for the waders.
Fly Flatts funnel cloud, a regular visitor
over the western ridge.
A real washout this morning with thick fog on the tops and torrential rain at Ogden just giving me time to check the water before the rain eased to drizzle and the fog came down.
Late afternoon at Fly Flatts was bright and breezy with a mix of blue skies and dark clouds with a few specs of rain on a cold and moderate W>5.
Buzzards were the bird of the day with 7 singles through from the NW heading >S . Hard to tell if these were true movers or sent across from the other side of the western ridge where a lot of gunfire was going on at Walshaw or Gorple area.
Very little moving otherwise, as to be expected in the afternoon ,but 2 Swallows low over the water was a bonus.
12 Golden Plover were on the north shore along with 48 Mallard and a single late Wheatear whilst at least 6 Stonechat were still present down the entrance track.
