Fog stopped play mid watch. Fly Flatts,(no public access)

5  Grey Wagtails blogging then off >W
Record count of 8 Tufted on the water

                                           Noisy Raven over

 Sparrowhawk low over the ponds

This is what it was hoping for, Wheatear.

A disappointing morning with fog rolling in half way through the watch.
The morning started bright and clear with a WSW>4 turning SW>5 with drizzle and fog banks starting to move in by 0900 hrs then shutdown by 0930 hrs with heavy rain and fog.
Child minding this p.m. so no afternoon watch.
Mipits and Swallows were moving at the start of the watch as well as 5 Grey Wagtails grounded by the ponds before moving off >W.
A record count of 8 Tufted duck on the water which is rare for this location whilst a Sparrowhawk skimmed over the ponds low but missed out on the single Wheatear present.
All going pear shaped at the moment with an early cut off this morning, no afternoon watch, and looking like fog possible in the morning.
