Fog morning and late afternoon at Fly Flatts. Down the hill to Leeshaw.

                                    Cormorants moving over Leeshaw>W

                      Herring gull

                                    Black Headed gull
                                        Ogden, Grey Wagtail
The centre gull obviously saw the funny side of it.
1 of 2 Commons at Ogden. Showing head streaking.

With Fly Flatts well and truly fogged off this morning it was down to Leeshaw which was just below the cloud base but heavy drizzle throughout.
With no shoreline here to check and nothing on the water it left me free for a vis mig watch.
With hopes of Pinkies and Osprey shattered, Cormorants and Snipe were the best of the bunch as well as a few other species moving mostly >W into the wind.
The day brightened late morning but by my late afternoon time the drizzle had returned and on arrival at Fly Flatts the fog was back with no visibility across the water.
With no time for Leeshaw and the dogs waiting to get out for their walk I plumped for Ogden which was a bit ambitious for Sunday afternoon but a poor day should make it quieter, wrong!!
After managing to get up in the top drug dealers car park I walked down through the masses along the prom and after 20 minutes it was, get me out of here time, so a dash back to the car and home for a walk over a peaceful Foxhill.
The only birds present at Ogden were Black Headed gulls, 2 Commons, 1 LBB, Mallards and a single Grey Wagtail.
