Good Morning, Bad Afternoon, Fly Flatts

1 juv, 1 adult Oystercatchers in to land.

                                                    Adult
                                                               Juvenile.
                                                  1 of 5 Wheatear

2nd summer YL Herring gull still showing some head streaking.

A decent morning with 6/8 okts cloud cover and a light W>3 with good visibility.
The only waders to arrive today were an adult and juv Oystercatcher which stayed on the south shore throughout the day. This is possibly the same two birds as I reported on the 3rd at Nolstar.
Hirundines and Swifts were on the move all passing over the water in migration mode as well as my first 2 moving Alba Wagtails high and >W.
A single female Tufted had me trying to make it into a Scoter and 5 ad Wheatear, in full autumn dressage, were present.
The afternoon watch was marred by terrible conditions with hot sunshine,23 degrees, blue clear skies and hardly a breath of wind, so a quick check around then watch aborted.
Sounds like we,ve some good conditions for tomorrow and the weekend with strong winds and heavy rain, lovely, bring on the waders.
