White tailed sea eagle

A rare white-tailed eagle has been photographed eating a goose at a Richmondshire lake.
Bird enthusiasts had initially hoped the eagle was a wild bird.
However, it is understood it is an escapee which belongs to a North Yorkshire bird of prey display team, who are trying to recapture it.

re Calderbirds blog.
The above cutting was from the Richmond press. The bird was being seen around Scarborough and North Yorkshire where it was photographed eating a goose at a small pond. May not be connected ?
