Redwings in Brighouse and a glutton for punishment, Fly Flatts.

An afternoon shopping trip to Brighouse found around 40 Redwing plus several Blackbirds and Thrushes on the Lane Ends Rowan trees, a popular location  for Waxwings in the past but none found today.
Back home at 1415 hrs the last of the rain seemed to be moving off but not when I arrived at Fly Flatts to a strong W>6 and heavy drizzle. The rain soon moved on but the area was once again void of birds other than a flock of around 50 Fieldfare heading for the Castle Carr roost.
With another day of rain forecast for tomorrow I may have to find another location until Fly Flatts sorts itself out.
