Another Sunday morning and another bank of fog dense on the tops so a quick trip to Redcar Tarn, Keighley to check for Med gulls where luckily the visibility was passable though very dark and heavy drizzle with the fog closing in by 0930 hrs. Definitely not a day for photos with a lack of light having me up at ISO 3200 and shutter speed down at 600 , just the opposite of what you want but the 7d Mk 2 coped well with the situation giving me a few pictures to look at.
Its amazing how such a small area of water and surrounding fields just 30 minutes from home can attract so many birds producing more birds in 1 hours watch than I see at Fly Flatts in a year although it is spoilt by disturbance so you need to pick the time you visit. At least it saved the mornings watch.
