Come back work, all is forgiven.

Had I still have been working as normal on a Saturday morning I,d have been in a dry garage instead of up at Fly Flatts in a strong W>5 and torrential rain throughout.
First light and poor conditions so set off without the dogs for Ogden but seeing the horizon over Fly Flatts was clear of fog and the sky brightening slightly I changed plans and settled for Fly Flatts.
On arrival it was lashing down but kept looking as if it was going to clear with odd pockets of blue sky but this never materialized and banks of rain ploughed across the moor one after the other.
A good check of the west bank and feeding areas just produced 2 Reed Bunting and the usual hardy Mallards on the water and with no signs of the weather abating  up stumps and headed for home hoping for some better weather this p.m.
If anyone is thinking of buying some waterproof over trousers don,t buy them at the work wear stall in Halifax market. I put mine on for the first time today and the water went straight through them, I may as well have gone up there in my pjamas. They,re now in the bin.
