Queensbury ,another of those days

A dull and dank day with grey skies, drizzle and low cloud which kept dropping down as mist throughout the day.
Old Guy Road cricket pitch at lunch time held 15 Meadow Pipits, 2 Skylark and 3 Pied Wagtails with 3 Mistle Thrush on a distant wire.
With reports now of Wheatears  and Sand Martins on the South coast this weekends promised southerlies should start to bring things our way. Also Ospreys are on the move so thats another one to watch for by next week.
Check those gulls for Kittiwakes with several inland reports during this week.
