NOTE !!
No sightings of Roe Deer, Fox, Hare or Badger will be mentioned on this blog throughout the year and links will be removed from other blogs giving the whereabouts of these mammals due to the rising influx of poaching, long dogging and lamping by sick individuals.

Old Guy Road

A quick check on the cricket pitch for early Wheatear but not yet to be.
Skylark numbers are building with 5 on the pitch and 2 singers in surrounding fields whilst also on the pitch were 7 Meadow Pipits and 2 Pied Wagtails.
Around 50 mixed Black Headed and Common gulls were in the fields along with c 100 Jackdaws.
A customer report today from Queensbury station of , what he thought to be, a singing Willow Warbler but way too early and would have been a Chiffchaff, several of which have over wintered in the area.
All quiet in the skies over Foxhill at lunch time.
