A quick lunch time check of the local fields failed to turn up anything exciting but found several lapwings not yet moved on to their breeding grounds.
A poor day after yesterdays sunshine with low cloud and continuous drizzle until mid afternoon with temperatures still well down making it feel more like a Sunday than mid week.
