A snowy day in Queensbury

Snowy walk to work, Chapel Lane

                            Blizzard conditions

One of the Swalesmoor smelly wagons stuck

                                                  Coming thick and fast
View from the top of the Dailies
                                             Queensbury station
Across the valley to Otley Chevin
                                            NE
                                               Drifting snow

A real grim morning with Queensbury cut off for a couple of hours mid morning with gridlocked cars on every road leading to and from the village.
By lunch time the sky was blue with sunshine followed by rain late afternoon but still this evening we,re left with about 3" of snow.
A Dailies dash mid day saw empty skies with just the usual corvids and Woodpigeons.
