Some days are diamonds, some days are stone.

The only good thing about todays birding is that I can go back to work tomorrow until these easterlies have gone.
A reservoir and Wheatear search this afternoon was in vain with each venue mega quiet.

Swalesmoor
1 Heron
usual corvids

Mixenden reservoir
1 Mallard
1 Hybrid duck
5 BH gulls
1 Sparrowhawk
1 Kestrel

Ogden reservoir
5 LBB gulls
usual small gulls and Mallards
4 Canadas
Barnacle now coming out of water for bread

No Wheatear
