Good to get the sound of the Curlew back
Oystercathers probing the fields
A juicy worm reward
Highlight of the morning 2 Dippers

With Fly Flatts once again fogged off it was down with some Nyger seed then off to Leeshaw where the weather was atrocious as usual on a Sunday morning, with low cloud and a strong WSW>5 bringing heavy horizontal drizzle over the moor.
Apart from the weather there was a real feel of spring with Curlews calling and Lapwings holding territory whilst returning Meadow Pipit numbers were rising.
Not having a Dipper over the last 12 month it was a nice surprise to get 2 down in the beck.
Well done to the hardy trio that attacked Soil Hill early morn and got rewarded with yesterdays Snow Bunting, NK, DF BH. Hopefully it will attract more down.
