Queensbury fog

Sunset through the mist
                           From Roper Lane over Bradshaw
                                       Going down for another day

A terrible day in Queensbury today with dense fog till midday then misty till 1400hrs when it brightened with blue skies and sunshine only for the mist to come down again by 1700hrs.
A quick tour during lunch break peering through the mist found the Lapwing flock now dispersing with 24 by the trailer park but no signs of Snipe. Looks like weve missed out on the Goldies this year at this site.
Green Lane held a few small gulls but plenty disturbance with the farmer working in the Little Owl area and in the next hot spot 2 fellows were in the middle of the field with easels and paints doing a landscape so it was back to work with an empty camera, thank goodness for the sunset.
