NOTE !!
No sightings of Roe Deer, Fox, Hare or Badger will be mentioned on this blog throughout the year and links will be removed from other blogs giving the whereabouts of these mammals due to the rising influx of poaching, long dogging and lamping by sick individuals.

A good year for Geese and Swans and only March.

Watched from Roper Lane , photographed from Green Lane
by Tracy Collier.   Pink Footed  5/1/13

Distant from Roper Lane heading over Fly Flatts.  BS
Pinkies over Queensbury through the fog,  2/1/13

44 Barnacle, 7 Pinkies, Leeshaw res. BS   5/1/13

8 Whoopers Fly Flatts  BS   17/2/13

                                  9 Pinkies, Leeshaw res   BS   3/3/ 13

The above are just my personal sightings with many more reports around the local area with also sightings of Goldeneye, Wigeon and Teal so although its been a quiet 2 month to press the wildfowl sightings have kept the job going nicely and the Pinkies should be on the move home anytime now.
All quiet around the village today with a dull misty morning and bright afternoon with a cold SE>4.
Expecting Buzzard over anytime but after a good sky watch at lunchtime and camera at the ready nothing, only to get back to work and hear of one >NW over Northowram from AC which would possibly have been viewable from Foxhill, try again tomorrow.
