Soil Hill, last light

Leave all hope behind, all ye that enter here.  Soil Hill

Late home so shot up to Soil Hill for the last 20 minutes of daylight to see what NK had missed during the afternoon, which turned out to be nothing. All was not lost though as DJS was  just completing a search of the summit so had chance of a good chat and left Soil Hill in pitch black.
Thanks to Nigel for spending the afternoon doing a thorough search of the hill top to bottom but no sign of Snow Buntings as yet, see Queensburybirder for Nigels report.

NK didn't do a report such was the paucity of birds. I just added a comment to Saturday's post. It was good to get a Herring Gull I have to say.

Good that you took the effort to check the area out. Fresh start next week.
