Corporal Hill/ Green Lane

                                                 Ready for roosting
                                                  Green Lane
                                         Down Shibden Valley
Shibden Top towards Black Dyke Mill
Green Lane, bottom of Corporal Hill
Last light over Ringby from Green Lane

A last desperate attempt to see something decent this weekend with a last light visit around Green Lane from 1530 hrs till dark 30 minutes later.
The fields were strangely quiet with no Lapwings and no Fieldfares, the gulls already moved on to roost.
Several Redwing were dropping into the holly bushes to roost as did a Green Woodpecker disappearing into conifers in the farmyard by the horse field.
A Little Owl was calling near to the Deanstones end and the usual noisy Jackdaw roost was building up.
