Mistle Thrushes and Tawny Owls

                                         The resident Tawny Owl

A duller, colder day today with temperatures not creeping above freezing although skies did blue up slightly early p.m. Water pipes at the garage were frozen up this morning and had to thaw them with the welding torch in order to get a cup of tea.
The skies were much quieter than yesterday with no thrushes or moving gulls about and I came away with an empty camera at lunch time from Foxhill Park so it was a quick visit to the Tawny Owl roost to find it in the sunshine near the edge of the tree but still not easy to get a clear shot of.
