I am based at Queensbury and bird a patch within a 10 mile range of home incorporating 16 stretches of water, several plantations, a belt of woodland, stretches of river and canal and good areas of moorland. Kestrel air show

Lunch time air display

Pose for the camera.

A milder bright day with clear blue skies making temperatures drop below zero after dark.
Just the usual resident Starlings, House Sparrows and gulls around feeding with 4 Blackbirds in the garage car park eating apples Id put out.
The highlight of the day was this female Kestrel giving a full display for me at lunch time over Grimstons across from Foxhill park.
