Plenty Goldcrests around
Some Robins showing signs of continentals
Ogden 0830-1000hrs Fog clearing slightly to mist and damp.
Yet another Sunday marred by fog with the Fly Flatts excursion having to be abandoned and drop down to Ogden which was just on the edge of the cloud base.
The water was quiet with about 30 small gulls and the usual Mallards whilst the edges of the wood held the usual Goldcrests, Coal, Blue and Great Tits, 2 Treecreepers and a count of 18 Robins, several of which showed signs of being continentals. A flock of 9 Redwing flew from the Lodge trees and up into the plantation near the Giants Tooth.
