Queensbury/ blizzard conditions

                                                A cracking sunrise

                                      Snow starting midday
                                   Full blizzard after dark.

A deteriorating day from a brilliant sunrise to a full snow blizzard this evening stopping traffic around Queensbury for a time. Still heavy snow falling at 2000hrs but main roads passable .
Several Common gulls around at midday squabbling over food whilst 28 House Sparrows were clearing the feeders in the garden.
Four Robins were present around Foxhill park at lunchtime which is unusual but these were not continental birds.
