Leeshaw Reservoir

                                    Several LBB, Herring, Black Headed

                                Possible YL Herring
                                    Still to be checked out

                                        Plenty Mipits about.

A terrible morning with a strong WSW and heavy drizzle blanking Fly Flatts out. Leeshaw was poor but bird-able, I've been out in worse, with a moderate WSW>4-5 with horizontal drizzle throughout the watch and full cloud at 13 degrees.
A very wet and windy do this morning again though Leeshaw is slightly more sheltered than Fly Flatts. Several gulls on the shore but still no sign of Common Gull though one was back in Foxhill Park whilst I was on this afternoons dog walk. This is just a week later than last years first returner and 2 weeks later than previous years.
Around 50 Lapwing were on the shore along with a single Heron and Cormorant whilst a few Mallard were on the water. Acres of shore here but a very poor season for waders so far though all the south shore is out of view with the water being so low and no access to the grounds.
Plenty Canada and Greylag in the big field but otherwise down to the usual species.
Looking drier for tomorrow with cloudy sunshine at 13 degrees but still the moderate Sou'westerly.
