Back to Leeshaw below the fog.

                                    c 90 Lapwing

                                    4 Curlew present

Only 6 Herring gull plus smalls.

Dense fog on the tops as per norm with Leeshaw just below the cloud-base with decent visibility on a SW>3 at 7 degrees.
Good to get the call of the Curlew back on the moor with 4 present along with 4 Oystercatcher and a flock of around 90 Lapwing. Goosander numbers were down today with 4 female and 3 male on the water with the usual Canadas, Greylags and Mallards along with a single Cormorant.
Another poor gull morning with just 6 Herring and around 200 small gull, whilst even the Dog and Gun gull field is failing to attract gulls for some reason.
Good numbers of Starling in the fields with a few Fieldfare and Stock Doves with them.
Another showery day tomorrow on a light southerly at 11 degrees early morn.
