                                                            A snow blizzard.

Early morn at Ogden reservoir with a biting cold E>3 at -2 degrees but bright with good visibility and a touch of sun as well as a few snow showers.
Gulls were the main feature with several stood on the ice making it easy to check for rings, though only 3 big gulls were present and still waiting for an Ogden Med gull.
A walk around the circumference of the water failed to find any Tit flocks and still no sign of Siskin or Redpoll flocks after checking all the usual Alder trees. Three Great Spotted Woodpeckers were active in the west bank Larch trees along with a single Jay and a Nuthatch whilst a Kingfisher was down in the sluice gate area along with 2 Dippers. Plenty Mallard but no other wildfowl.
Back at the car park 2 Bullfinch were present as well as 4 very tame Robins.
Still no thaw today so still no access to Fly Flatts.
