Plenty Goldfinch about
Soil Hill 1600-1700 hrs
Against my better judgement in the sunshine and blue skies I tried 1 hour sky watch on Soil Hill and got just what I expected in the conditions, nothing. Surely this sun can,t go on shining much longer.
Goldfinches were everywhere moving from one patch of thistles to another whilst a handful of Meadow Pipit, Skylark and Linnets were present.
Plenty LBB and BH gulls were in the fields and around the reservoir at Oxenhope otherwise the sky was empty.
Very little sign of vis mig this morning, again due to anti birding weather conditions.
I,m hoping for some grey stuff in the morning but its looking grim if tonights red sky is anything to go by.
