A much quieter day today with an early start of vis mig but drying up by 0700 hrs.
A trip around this evening found the NW wind had encouraged birds to move with a tail wind leaving Ogden without Swallows and House Martins . Just the usual small gulls on the shoreline along with 1 Gt Crested Grebe.
A quick check on Taylor Lane failed to produce Cuckoo and no sign of the Roper Lane Redstarts.
A good report today of a September Swift over Shelf Moor yesterday by CK, B.O.G.
Its just a matter now of wait and see what the weekend drops in.
